I have loved drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. When I discovered that I could get paid for doing what I love, it was a no-brainer that I would study graphic design at university.
I graduated in 2008 with a BA (HONS) in Visual Communication and a six month placement working for Central Bedfordshire Council. Here I cut my teeth learning the ins and outs of working with tough clients and strict deadlines.
When the placement ended, I took the opportunity to fulfil my ambition of going snowboarding and surfing around the world.
I returned to the UK with a renewed passion for design and landed a job as a Junior Designer at Digital Annexe, where I have spent the last two years working on projects that have refined my skills as well as pushing me to learn new ones.
While these experiences have been invaluable to my professional development, I am a firm believer that you never stop learning and I relish the opportunity to continue to work on interesting and diverse new projects, learning from those around me.
